TERMS OF SERVICE
A SMALL BOARD WITH CLEAR BOUNDARIES.
Service
42 SPOTS operates a curated Top 42 company showcase and two time-limited sponsored auction boards. The curated showcase is unpaid. During the fixed Flash window, captured Flash sponsors temporarily take priority at their frozen positions on the homepage Top 42. By submitting a bid, you agree to these Terms, the Auction Rules, and the Privacy Notice.
Operator and billing identity
42 SPOTS is operated as a Redct.Ai service. Card statements may show REDCT.AI. Payment, policy, and service questions may be sent to info@redct.ai.
Your authority and content
You confirm that you can advertise the submitted company or product and that you have the rights and permissions needed for every submitted name, statement, destination, screenshot, image, logo, and profile field. You grant 42 SPOTS a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, resize, reproduce, moderate, and display approved submissions to operate and promote the scheduled board and company directory. Do not upload confidential information or personal information you are not authorized to publish. You remain responsible for accuracy, legality, rights, and destination security.
Authorization and eligibility
Flash — Minimum bid: $0.50. Main — Minimum bid: $4.20. Both boards accept bids in $0.01 increments. Your card is authorized for the exact bid amount. Eligibility depends on Stripe’s authorization timestamp being inside the published bidding window; starting Checkout or receiving a delayed webhook does not change that timestamp. A bank may show a temporary hold even when no money is captured. Stripe, the payment network, and your bank control authorization availability and release timing.
Creative approval and human settlement
Payment never guarantees acceptance. We may reject or remove unsafe, deceptive, infringing, illegal, discriminatory, adult, gambling, malware, impersonation, short-link, affiliate, or otherwise unsuitable content. A human must initiate settlement before a winning authorization can be captured.
Ranking and public position states
Ranking follows the published Auction Rules and freezes when settlement begins. Captured winners display as Sponsored during their verified fixed window. A position with no frozen winner may show its corresponding curated unpaid company. That curated card is not a winner, sponsor, or backfill. A failed winning capture displays as Unfilled at its original rank and is never replaced. While payment is reserved, under review, or indeterminate, the independent curated company may remain visible with a Verifying Auction Status notice; it does not imply that the rank is available or that the sponsor lost. An available-position control can target only the verified successor round identified at Checkout. Rejected, losing, late, missed-round, and capture-failed submissions do not receive a public company page from their bid, and their authorizations are released as applicable.
Fixed delivery and homepage priority
A successful capture purchases one sponsored card for the scheduled board window identified at Checkout and a continuing company directory page derived from the approved immutable bid creative. Flash display is fixed at 12:00–12:42 PM Central on its weekday. During those 42 minutes, Flash receives homepage Top 42 priority. If Main is also live, its original interval and each verified Main sponsor’s company-page status continue until the fixed end; Flash priority does not pause, move, restart, shorten, or extend Main. Main display otherwise remains fixed to its scheduled start and lasts exactly 42 elapsed hours.
Company pages and profile enhancements
A captured sponsor’s minimal company page uses the approved name, destination, and pitch from its immutable bid. It is labeled Sponsored only while a fresh authoritative response confirms an active captured placement; otherwise its badge is Curated. The page does not publish bid amount, rank, payment details, settlement state, or a sponsorship history. Additional screenshots, images, and profile fields replace placeholders only after separate approval and never affect ranking, capture, release, or the fixed display. A continuing page is not a promise of perpetual operation, endorsement, search position, or an unchangeable record; correction and removal requests remain available.
Missed, empty, and partial Flash windows
If settlement does not begin before the scheduled display, nobody is charged and no paid board appears for that round; the curated Top 42 may remain with a clear Missed notice. A healthy empty Flash window may show the curated Top 42 with a notice that there are no captured sponsors. On a partial Flash board, curated unpaid cards may appear at ranks without a verified captured sponsor. A failed frozen rank remains Unfilled; a payment-indeterminate rank keeps its independent curated card only as presentation and receives a Verifying Auction Status notice.
No performance promise
We do not guarantee impressions, unique visitors, clicks, conversions, revenue, search-engine benefit, publicity, or continued operation. The current service does not provide advertiser click analytics.
Refunds
Losing, rejected, late, failed, or missed-round bids are not captured and therefore do not need refunds. Captured placements are generally final once service begins, except for duplicate capture, proven service failure, or removal solely by 42 SPOTS without advertiser breach. Network hold-release timing is not a refund.
Future changes and liability
We may change future schedules, minimum bids, increments, display presentation, or rules with notice before their bidding window opens. Published windows already accepting bids remain governed by their accepted version. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected placement. These Terms do not waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
